Another victory for the model pupil Maxi Kraft's Barcelo OLD and a good placing for MaxiKraft Virazzo.
The two horses owned by Maik Kanitzky / Gestüt M.K. Ammerland got off to a great start at the Reutlingen Dressage Days.
The eight-year-old son of Vivaldi, Virazzo, kicked things off, immediately attracting attention with his habitus and movement mechanics. Unfortunately, he missed his colleagues from the warm-up arena in the test hall somewhat and had to communicate this loudly. His concentration suffered as a result and there was also tension in some of the lessons. Too bad, we'll try to remedy that at our next start. Today he finished fourth in the advanced (S*) level dressage test with 69.008 per cent.
The test was won by Barcelo OLD, who once again showed a dream round. I am really delighted with my model pupil, who is not only fantastic to ride and has a lot of potential for everything else. He is also incredibly consistent at his young age and always wants to do everything right. With 76.19 per cent, he was the clear winner of the test.
