Lyon - second World Cup stop for Ente aka Dayman in our second indoor season together - and a really successful start with a faultless Grand Prix.
Dayman is becoming more and more confident, stays better and better straight and in front of my aids and is also becoming more and more confident himself. I thought the last piaffe on the final line in particular showed where our journey could take us: it was simply mega! Very even! With a lot of impression and yet completely effortless! Wow! Of course, I have to mention a few little things, such as the minimal faltering in the passage before the walk transition. That cost points, of course.
But the decisive factor for me is that Dayman really feels even better every time. With 72.587 per cent and seventh place in a strong competition, we are clearly qualified for the World Cup freestyle tomorrow, Friday, starting at 5.40 pm as the ninth of the 15 pairs.
